I am pretty sure there is something for everyone to be found in Lady GaGa, whether you listen to her music and dance around the bedroom like a maniac trying to get ready for a night out, or perhaps don your running accessories and tune in to her latest album on your I pod to keep fit, or even just follow her every wardrobe move because she is your fashion muse – Lady Gaga is a true force to be reckoned with. Lady GaGa or real name Stefani Joanne Angeline Germanotta was born twenty five years ago in New York city, of an Italian ancestry and began learning to play the piano at a very early age. In the last few years Lady GaGa has seem a meteoric rise to fame and has been nominated for a formidable string of awards and achieved numerous record breaking accolades. Most recently it has been announced on the press that Lady GaGa will be opening the prestige ridden MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles Nokia Theatre at the end of August. Subsequently people have started to talk and wander just how she will top her unforgettable past performances and appearances at such award type shows – remember the ‘meat'dress. I wait with much anticipation to what song she chooses to open the show with, and more importantly what outfit she wears to do it in – I’m sure it will be breathtaking as always and even more GaGa than we can even begin to imagine.

Lady GaGa: ’Amy changed pop music forever’

Every word uttered from Lady GaGa’s mouth is lingered upon, dissected, disseminated, shared and re tweeted. Fittingly she has just recently become the first ever Twitter account to reach a staggering 12 million followers, just ahead of Canadian teen sensation and global star Justin Bieber. Whether she is sporting a majestic feat of designer silver jewellery upon her head or a walking down the red carpet with a flamingo, there is a whole lot of people who want to know about it. Lady Gaga lately spoke about the death of British singer Amy Winehouse and as expected all ears were poised for what she had to say. The Fame singer exclaimed that “Amy changed pop music forever, I remember knowing there was hope, and feeling not alone because of her. She lived jazz, she lived the blues”, strong words, despite never actually having met the singer, she obviously made quite an impression on the GaGa. Many fans and writers in Gaga and Winehouse forums alike have discussed the possibility that Lady GaGa may be penning a tribute to the late singer. Upon reflection of the notion it could quite possibly be a truly wonderful thing, an undoubtedly unique piece that will create a fitting legacy for the soulful singer. I can’t imagine any other artist other than Lady Gaga being able to conjure through song a message strong enough to reflect the personality, troubles, passions, highs and lows of Amy Winehouse – I for one hope the rumours are true and I truly can’t wait for the ‘might happen’.

Lady Gaga controversy continues

That Lady Gaga is the queen of pop music is no longer a breaking news. Some may however find it as news that she is the most powerful woman in entertainment around the world beating Oprah Winfrey in the process. She is loved by many and of course just like every other human, she has detractors as well. She has been described as one of the most controversial singers of today due to her lifestyle. Lady Gaga has not only been criticized by religious groups, she has suffered the same fate from animal rights groups among others. She however appears not ready to stop or quit her way of life just because some people or groups of people find her repulsive.

Speaking about criticisms, there is virtually nothing that has not been said about her fashion sense and her life in general. Some individuals have been so blinded by hate that they even claim that Gaga once had a hair transplant. Her recent Judas video was also a subject of controversy. She was criticised by religious groups who called her names while some went as far as describing Lady Gaga as a demon or a possessed woman. Judas video and lyrics were said to be against Christianity but the same group of people did not hear her in the song talking about her respect and love for Jesus. Disgust for her has made them blind and deaf not only to the Judas song but also to her activism and the good causes she fights for. It is just a pointer to the fact that you cannot please everybody and some will just not see anything good in you no matter what you do.

Lady Gaga…

I was watching a video of Lady Gaga last night and she was amazing. Well there has been lot of critics about her copying Madonna and comparisons as well. Madonna was known for her pop music since early 1980’s and she has been compared with so many budding female artists. Lady Gaga has been the latest among all the others and it is said that Lady Gaga has taken off from where Madonna left. With her up – tempo ballads and anthems like poker face, Just dance has captured all attention of the public. But if you closely observe both of them there is definitely a difference in the quality.The kind of music both Madonna and Lady Gaga have produced in fact shows a wide difference between both of them. Gaga has let heartache and insecurity to penetrate into her art because of which more personal musical expression is reflected. However on the other hand Madonna has a sense of confidence and success around her. One of the things that give Gaga a harder edge is her aggressive and harder beats. Her style, tactics and clothing are some things that turn heads and attract the crowd. I wonder how much of laser hair removal cost she would have borne. No matter you like her style or not, her style is something you definitely can’t ignore. The talent that she carries is outrageous and makes a statement by it self. The question that arises is whether she will fade out like other artists or her talents and tactics take her to a different level. I like her music and I believe she is going to stay on and wont leave any time sooner.

Lady Gaga – real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta has certainly shot to stardom in the last couple of years… and here i mean super stardom. Although international fame has only bestowed on her in the last two to three years, Forbes in 2011 named her as the most powerful celebrity alive. The accolade is largely attributed to the phenomenal following she has on social media platforms, namely Facebook and Twitter. The singer is just as famous for her outlandish outfits as she is for her music, with the former being force that has consequently produced a plethora of images iconic to the Lady Gaga brand. Fans across the world looking to purchase print posters to captivate the essence of the Gaga are met with an almost ungraspable choice. There are however a number of contenders for most popular image, ones that come near to encapsulating the true Gaga force.
